Living abroad made me leave the Republican party’s ideology. I guess for the Republicans, they need to keep their base on lockdown. For the GOP it’s a case of that old “How Ya Gonna Keep ‘em Down On The Farm After they’ve seen Paree”
PS: During the Cold War the East Germans preferred to use as Berlin border guards people from a part of East Germany that had bad TV reception and could not get West German broadcasts. They were thought of to be the most ignorant of the world outside their district and thus the most reliable of operatives.

Do Democrats or Republicans Travel More? New Data From onetravel.com Reveals the Answer
Who travels more – Democrats or Republicans? According to data* recently released by leading online booking site OneTravel, during 2012, residents of blue states booked 2.5 more trips than their red state counterparts.
Among the ten states that booked the most travel, six are blue (California, New York, Illinois, Washington, District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania), while two are red (Texas and Georgia) and two are undecided (Florida and Colorado). Of the ten states which booked the least amount of travel, five are red (West Virginia, Wyoming, Mississippi, South Dakota and Idaho), four are blue (Delaware, Vermont, Maine, and Rhode Island) and one is undecided (New Hampshire).

On average, red states spent $46.28 more per booking than blue states
